Philip Chen graduated from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to that, he studied Bachelor’s in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. A heavy interest in sports and athletics combined with an innate desire to help others heal and recover was the driving force that made Philip consider going down the route of physiotherapy.
Philip believes in treating the root cause of the health concern that is causing the symptoms. He uses a combination of manual/hands-on techniques, exercise prescription, therapeutic modalities and patient education to create an individualized treatment plan for each and every unique presentation that someone comes in with. Goal setting is used to help drive the treatment plan and work towards a purpose.
Outside of the clinic, Philip enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports, and occasionally travelling and seeing what the world has to offer.
